Intended to promote the wellness of black boys and to support their creative minds. For the black boys that go against the norms of society and dream to be themselves in a world where they’re often conditioned not to. “Believe you have a reason to be.”

It all started with an affirmation, that later became a mantra, then a cool jacket, then a logo, then a few sweatshirts, then some tees, that eventually turned into a lifestyle, a brand, a shield, a movement; something celestial, tribal and ancestral. “Black Boy Be…” is a call for justice, a call for empowerment, a call for believing that you have a reason to be, to be bold, to be beautiful, to be happy, sad, emotional, angry or tired. You have the right to feel these emotions, but I empower you to be more, to breathe more, to listen to yourself and to take care of yourself. We have the power to change the world, build empires, and to press forward. we’re not apparitions or fragments of broken candlelight, we’re sunshine, we’re powerful, we’re the beginning of time, and with this knowledge, with these verbal weapons of affirming our existence, we will prosper, we will…be.
